    Week 1:
    REVISION AND INTRODUCTION
    Period 1+2:
    I. Objectives:
    - Students will be able to speak with each other by communicative words.
    - Revision vocabulary and grammar in class three.
    II. Language content:
    1. Vocabulary: commands
    2. Grammar: simple present tense.
    III. Teaching aids: book, board, chalk …
    IV. Time: 35 minutes
    V. Procedures:
    1.Warm up: Board race
    - T puts eight ss` objects cards, Ss rewrite words, which groups write many right words, they will win.
    2. Presentation: Commands.
    - T asks ss to review the commands.
    Open your book.
    Close your book.
    May I go out.
    May I come in.
    Listen to me.
    Read again.
    Coppy down.
    Please be quiet.
    Raise your hand.
    - Asks ss to listen to the T to read commands twice or three times.
    - Asks ss to read in chorus then individually.
    - Asks ss to write commands in their notebook.

    - Asks ss to match English with Vietnamese meaning.
    - Give feedback and correct.
    * Wh -questions.
    - Asks ss to repeat form, use and meaning of Wh -questions.
    What : hỏi tên người,tên đồ vật.
    How : hỏi sức khoẻ,thời tiết
    Where : hỏi vị trí,nơi chốn.
    How many : hỏi số lượng.
    How old : hỏi tuổi.
    What colour : hỏi màu sắc.
    Who : hỏi tên người.
    - Give feedback and correct.
    3. Practice:
    * Exercise: Answer the questions by using the word cues.
    a. What is your name? (Trang)
    b. What is this? (eraser)
    c. Is that a door ? (no )
    d. How many tables are there? (15)
    e. What color is your bag? (black)
    f. Who is she? (my mother)
    g. How many teachers are there? (one)
    - Give feedback and correct.
    4. Production:
    * Do as I say.
    Ex: S1: does a command
    S2: Says a command
    5. Homework:
    - Revision the lesson
    - Prepare next lesson.

    UNIT 5: Let’s Talk
    Period 3
    I. Objectives:
    - Ss learn how to ask and answer about their ages.
    - Ss develop four language skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing.
    II. Language content:
    1. Vocabulary: happy birthday, .....
    2. Grammar: Review the greeting and the question - answer pattern.
    III. Teaching aids: book, board, chalk …
    IV. Time: 35 minutes
    V. Procedures:
    1. Warm up:
    - T puts the teacher’s cards on the desk, and asks ss to take turn describing the people in the pictures. If he/she is correct, the others repeat the sentences. If not, the others keep silent.
    Ex: S1: She’s young.
    Ss: She’s young.
    S2: She’s thin.
    Ss: …
    2. Presentation:
    - Present the first part of the dialogue.
    - T draws a birthday cake and some gifts on the board, and says “Happy birthday!”
    - T reviews the ss of the numbers from one to ten.
    - T explains the new words.
    Happy birthday: chúc mừng sinh nhật.
    - T and two students model the conversation.
    - T asks ss to ask and answer about their ages.
    - T guides sts to get familiar with the first part of the dialogue.
